The AAE has one place where all the blocks meet, a neXus, which is unique to the AAE and provides three Group III candidates instead of the usual two. The braces assure that they are all 90 degrees apart, forming an X.

1. Lift the s-, d-, p-block assembly, lay down with the bottom of the s-block black side up and slip the slots below the word "s-block" down over tabs 1 and 2 of the f-block "ALEXANDER..." brace.

2. Pull tabs taut inside and check outside to assure brace edge is flush with the straight sides of the slots.

3. Tape tab 1 inside and check the other side again. (If alignment is wrong after taping, either cut the applied tape at the tab edge to correct and replace, or pry tape off from the side AWAY from the edge of the die cut paper to prevent peeling off the ink.)

4. Repeat with tab 2 and check the outside again before taping.

NEXT is the final neXus brace ->>
